Cosmic Elements welcomes the first solo release from Thylacinus, a broken beat, nu jazz, instrumental hip hop and soul fusion entitled 'West Coast Lines EP' which is an ode to the American West Coast musical sound, as shown in the EP and track titles. And what a release it is, after many months in waiting!

The EP opener is 'Tequila Sunrise'; a soul and jazz fusion track made for any occasion, with a fantastic rhodes piano leading throughout over lush chords, French influenced guitar work and a funky live bass line. Next up is 'London To L.A', which continues in the same vein with its soul/jazz fusion feel; warm inviting rhodes, infectious bass line and a soft guitar which combined captures the feel of two major cities, an ocean apart. Last but not least is 'The Sonoran' which fuses funk and heavy string work giving it a dramatic big room sound, leaving you wanting more and completing a very strong first solo EP for Thylacinus.
